Distance

 When i was small I thought
Distance could be covered
By a plane a train a car

No matter how far you are

And now clearly when i see

The distance that sets us apart

Is not by the road or by the sea

It feels so weird because

The distance is created by you and me
Distance is not being far
Its when you are right there
And it still feels like a war

Its when on little things we fight

ready to lose each other without a fright
Thats what brings the distance and creates the gap
Which cannot be solved or reached by using any map
You put up a cover and say that you dont care
Is it true or you are fooling yourself too

While the distance keeps increasing

And you dont get a clue what to do
You walk along but you dont look
You sit beside but you dont talk
That's how distant we are
Not the distance by the road
Not the distance by the sky

Not the distance by the sea

Not even the distance by an enemy
The distance created by you and me
Just the distance of your ego

And the distance of your mind

locking yourself in a deep mine

And thsi distance is the hardest to cover

Because I dont knwo what to take
A car a ship a plane or a train
Its the distance that we create
With our ego and silliness 
And this distance is created by you and me
